After postgraduate studies in Differentiation, Genetics and Immunology, Séverine joined the International agency for research on cancer (Lyon), where she worked as a scientist from 1999 to 2004 and earned her PhD in cell biology, specialising in oncology.

From 2004 to 2006, she worked as an international commercial engineer for Nucleis, a Lyon-located biotechnology company dedicated to the generation of custom-made transgenic mouse models for the pharmaceutical industry and academic research, where she was in charge of developing sales and marketing strategies for the international market, and as a technical consultant in molecular biology.

In 2006, she took a position in business development at Mapi Research Institute, a branch of the Mapi Group involved in international clinical trials and the management of patient-reported outcomes.

With strong experience in research, scientific communication and marketing, Séverine joined the Dodet Bioscience team in February 2007 as a scientific project leader.
